Duck season is on us! Okay, not the OFFICIAL Alabama duck season but the Alabama Rubber Duck Race season. Join us in supporting the Hueytown Boys & Girls Club of Central Alabama by participating in the Alabama Duck Race. All proceeds go to the BGCCA. The BGCCA - Hueytown is not only a fantastic supporter of the Hueytown Area Chamber of Commerce, but is also a fabulous resource for our area.
This is great family entertainment and it is so easy to participate! You adopt an individual or a flock of ducks in advance of the race. Adoptions begin at $ 5 per duck. Then come watch your duck race against others on May 1st at Alabama Adventure. You will be in the running to win a $ 5,000 grand prize or one of 7 other prizes ranging from gift cards to a romantic weekend at the Hoover Embassy Suites.
You can complete a duck adoption application online or pick up an adoption form at the Hueytown branch of the Alabama Telco Credit Union. So get quackin' - help us raise awareness and provide youth afterschool and summer programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Alabama.
