Good things continue to grow in Hueytown - come be a part of the Hueytown Area Chamber of Commerce's 6th Annual Hueytown 10k/5k Run-Walk. This is a 10k USATF Certified Course and a 5k event. There will also be a 1 mile fun run for the kids directly following the end of the race.
Runners and Walkers will enjoy our course. The Race/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, Oct 1st, starting at Hueytown Elementary. Registration Links: TrakShak and through Birmingham Track Club. We look forward to another great race this year! The funds raised for this race goes directly back to schools and charities in our area.
Last year we had over 300 participants. Be sure to sign up early to insure you receive your Cool Dry shirt the day of the race. All 10k/5k participants will receive a pre-race goodie bag.
The divisions for the race include (for male & female) Open Masters, (ages) 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+. We will award each divsion winners' with a prize and also have door prizes distributed throughout the race.
