The Alabama Department of Revenue hosts new business workshops across the state. Participants receive a brief, but comprehensive overview of Alabama taxes that will enable a business to begin operating with a clearer understanding of its tax obligations.
The workshops cover a state tax information topics including employer withholding taxes, state and local sales taxes, property taxes, business licensing requirements and Alabama's child labor law. An overview of Alabama's business tax electronic filing programs will also be presented.
