Are you a Teen interested in creating a video game and learning new technologies? Free Workshop - Univ of Alabama - Saturday, Jan 11 from 10 am to 12 noon


The Alabama Museum of Natural History's GeoTech Lab at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa is hosting a series of free workshops involving video gaming and other related technologies  for students in grades 8 through 12. 

The first workshop will be on GameMaker and is scheduled for this Saturday, January 11th.  Time:  10 am - 12 noon.   Each participant will learn GameMaker and will have a game creation of their own by the end of the day's lab.  Although the workshop is free, you will need to bring your own lunch.

Future workshops:
     Sketch-Up to create  3-D printed objects (Jan 25th)
     Photoshop & Illustrator (Feb 15th)
     OfficeSuite and Other programs (March 1st)  and
     Geocaching and Story Maps (March 15th)
