Go Gophers! Congratulations to Hueytown High School's Softball team! They won the North Central Regional at Tuscaloosa's Sokol Park on Saturday, May 11th. As the North Central Regional winners they will go to the State 6A Championship in Montgomery on Thursday, May 17th.
The softball championship series is scheduled for Thursday-Saturday at Montgomery's Lagoon Park, with 2A, 4A and 6A champions awarded Friday, May 17 and 1A, 3A and 5A champs awarded Saturday, May 18. So make your plans to be in Montgomery on Thursday!
